By accessing and using this website and our calligraphy services, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which are governed by the laws of New Zealand. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Description
vorquenxaiethae provides calligraphy and hand-lettering services including but not limited to wedding invitations, certificates, custom lettering designs, and related artistic services. All services are provided subject to these terms and in accordance with New Zealand consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information when requesting our services, including project specifications, deadlines, and any special requirements. You must ensure that any content you provide for lettering work does not infringe on third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
Service Agreements
Specific terms for each calligraphy project will be discussed and agreed upon before work commences. This includes project scope, timelines, pricing, and delivery methods. All agreements will be confirmed in writing and are subject to New Zealand contract law.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified for each project. Generally, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion or delivery. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable, unless otherwise specified. Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed terms.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
If you are a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you have certain statutory rights and guarantees that cannot be excluded. Our services will be provided with reasonable care and skill, be fit for the purpose for which they are commonly supplied, and match any description provided. These guarantees are in addition to any rights you may have under these terms.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you will receive ownership of the physical calligraphy work. However, we retain the right to use images of completed work for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. All intellectual property rights in our designs, techniques, and methodologies remain our property.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, our liability for any claims related to our calligraphy services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Cancellation and Modifications
Project cancellations or significant modifications may be subject to fees based on work completed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your project. If you are a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 regarding cancellation and refunds.
Disputes
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to mediation or the New Zealand courts.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
